Court Ordered Services
Substance Abuse Evaluation
A New Leaf Mental Health and Wellness Center provides substance abuse assessment for individuals ordered by the court or for individuals who voluntarily desire an assessment on their own. Our assessments use the latest DSM-V criteria and are recognized as valid by the State of Iowa court system as well as the Iowa Department of Transportation.
Referrals
A New Leaf Mental Health and Wellness Center may occasionally find that a client is better suited for treatment at another facility. New Leaf maintains contacts with a vast network of hospitals and clinics as well as consumer organizations with further resources like the Office of Consumer Affairs. Should treatment elsewhere be indicated, New Leaf staff make every effort to provide multiple options to the client for consideration.
Substance Abuse Treatment
Individual Therapy
A New Leaf Mental Health and Wellness Center provides individual therapy sessions based on client needs. In addition to standard treatment modalities, the staff at New Leaf have world-wide experience and each client’s cultural and educational background are considered when developing treatment plans to provide the most effective treatment possible.
Telehealth
A New Leaf Mental Health and Wellness Center is one of the only treatment providers in the area to offer a comprehensive Telehealth program. We understand that there may be barriers to treatment attendance, and will work out a plan for you to be able to complete treatment by accessing appointments over the telephone or online.
